Table Trotter

Privacy

We collect very little, and here is all of it.

Table Trotter is a family recipe site, not a data business. This page lists everything the site stores or sends, in plain words.

What we collect

  • Your email address, only if you join the newsletter. It goes to MailerLite, the service that sends our emails, and nowhere else. Signup is double opt-in: nothing is sent until you confirm from your inbox. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes you from the list.
  • Saved dinner nights stay in your browser. The “Save for later” button writes to your browser's local storage on your device. We never see that list; clearing your browser data clears it.
  • Ordinary server logs. Our host, Vercel, keeps standard request logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. We do not use them to identify or track anyone.

What we don't do

  • No analytics or advertising cookies, and no tracking pixels.
  • Fonts are served from our own site, so no font request reaches Google.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share personal information.

Links to other sites

Recipes link to sources, photo credits, and, in future, to shops where you can buy ingredients or kitchen gear (see our disclosure page). Those sites have their own privacy practices and may set their own cookies once you arrive there. We will update this page before any advertising is added to the site.

Children

The site is written for the grown-ups planning dinner. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13; if a child has subscribed, tell us and we will remove the address.

Your choices

Unsubscribe from any email to leave the list. Ask us to delete anything we hold about you and we will.

Questions about any of this: reply to any issue of our newsletter and a person will answer.
